Frequently Asked Questions
Our challenges are designed for everyone, no matter what your level of fitness is now.
We like to think that our challenges will help everyone with the motivation they may need to improve their fitness, by reaching milestones along your route, learning about new locations and having an achievable goal.
You can walk, jog, run or take part doing what ever distance-based activity you like and at what ever pace you like.
Important: You should always check with your doctor or health professional where appropriate before taking part in any active activities.
The amount of time it will take you to complete this challenge depends on your fitness level and exercise type.
You can set your own timeframe goal from 1 week to 18 months to complete each challenge. This goal can be easily be changed at any time if you want to extend or shorten it, just go into your challenge settings in your account.
Anyone can join our challenges no matter where you live, however, at the moment you can only purchase entries with a medal if you live within the UK. Entrants who live elsewhere will only be able to take part in our 'virtual rewards only' packages.
We are looking to extend this in the near future, but due to increasing worldwide postal costs, we will be rolling this out slowly over time.
You can log distances using two methods:
1) Manually - just sign in to your account and click the orange plus icon on the top-right of any page. Select your exercise type, add a distance and boom, you're done.
2) Automatically – via the range of apps and devices that we connect with. Currently we support: Strava, Garmin, Fitbit & Polar. Just head to your connections page in your account to set them up.
Important: Remember to go into your challenge settings to set up which activities count towards your challenge!

You will need to head to your Challenge Settings page and make sure that each activity type you want to log is selected.
If you add a new connection (e.g. Strava, Garmin, Fitbit, etc) after joining a challenge, you will need to revisit your Challenge Settings page to select the new activity types to include for that connection.
You also need to select the relevant activity types to log for a challenge for Manual Entries.
Each challenge you join has its own settings, so be sure to select the activity types you want to log for every one!
We automatically synchronise daily steps with Fitbit, Garmin and GoogleFit around midnight (GMT) each day. This is to ensure we collect your full daily steps in one go.
If you manually enter your steps, they will be added to your challenge immediately.
No, we support family accounts, so as an adult you can sign up for an account and then create sub-accounts for your children or other family members.
Each family member has their own settings and can take part in their own challenges, earning their own rewards as they go, but the account login and email notifications go to the primary account holder email address.
Please reach out to us if you would like to know more about how we protect the privacy of your children (and you) on the platform.
Medals are sent out to you once you have completed your challenge distance.
We will notify you via email once your challenge is completed to confirm your delivery address.
